Huis over de dijk is a holiday accommodation in de Kwakel located on the Stelling van Amsterdam; the building is a former agricultural barn which has been/ is being converted into 6 flats. Three flats are currently ready. The building is sustainably built and energy-neutral. A beautiful, green, quiet place just under the smoke of Amsterdam. If you are "over the dike" there is peace and quiet. Located on the edge of the green heart, there are plenty of opportunities for cycling and walking. Aalsmeer with its Westeinder lake and historic garden is nearby; but Amsterdam is also easily accessible by public transport. The flats are fully self-sufficient; there is a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious bathroom and cosy living room. There is a private terrace overlooking the grassland with sheep.
