From 1 October 2023, I will open a B&B with four rooms called the Grols Kwartier. The Grols Kwartier is located within the city canal in the old fortified town of Groenlo, centrally located in the Achterhoek region and close to the German border. It is a small-scale B&B with four rooms. Each room is accessible by its own code, allowing flexible arrival and departure times. You have your own entrance, private parking on the premises and private bathroom facilities in the room. Depending on the room you book, you can also use a private terrace area (covered). The B&B is at walking distance from 'de Markt' with several cosy terraces and restaurants. The bakeries and supermarket are both within walking distance. Groenlo is known for the beer brand Grolsch, for the event 'the Battle of Grolle' and its fortified town character. The B&B is also close to recreation park Marveld, nature park de Leemputten and several small (church) villages, cycling and walking paths.
