On the border between Groningen and Friesland, where the river Lauwers flows, lies the picturesque village of Visvliet. Our backyard lies close to border of the The Wadden World Heritage Waddensea and the Middag Humsterland a National Landscape. The B&B het Heirhuys is located on the top floor of the tearoom/ meeting space of the village. From March 2021 we rent out 2 rooms for 2 to 4 people. The two comfortable double rooms have been restored in the old style with panel doors and elements from the past. Both rooms have their own shower and toilet. There is a well-equipped kitchen. Het Heirhuys has its own entrance and overlooks the main street of the village. You reach the B&B via the living room shop with a staircase to the top floor. The bicycles can be packed in the shed of you rent some bicycles in advance. In front of the building we have built a cozy terrace for a cup of coffee with a snack or just for a nice chat.
