Spend the night in a unique shepherd's wagon and escape to the tranquillity of south-east Friesland. Explore the beautiful, wooded landscape, scavenge with the chickens in the garden or lose yourself in a crackling campfire under the falling night. At De Compagnons, you will sleep in a unique centuries-old English ‘Tiny House’; the shepherd's wagon. They are equipped with all modern conveniences, including a private bathroom and kitchen, as well as underfloor heating, a comfortable bed and a cosy fireplace. Nestle yourself by the campfire as night falls, jump on the pedals of the steel steeds available for free the next day. Have a good chat with Joop and Gijs, our goat-lords, or ask the chicken ladies for an egg for your breakfast. Get lost in the hanging chair under the willow with a good book or wander through one of the many nature reserves.
